From time to time, we also run additional family workshops or activities related to our current theme. To link with our Safari theme, we learned African dance from dancer Olu Taiwo. For our Recycling theme, we had a Junk Percussion workshop, taught by percussionist Rob Millett. For our River theme, we went on a River Adventure Walk, led by Joe Pecorelli from Richmond Environment Trust and for our 2010 Summer Course, Amazamba, we had additional workshops in Bollywood Dance, Capoeira, Street Dance and storytelling. For Leaping from the Page, we offered a storytelling workshop, with local storyteller Ghislaine Walker.
We encourage our pupils to watch dance too and have arranged trips to see professional dance companies at local theatres.
A unique multi arts summer experience for children in professional dance studios at the Rambert School, St Margarets TW1.

We have extensive experience of working with children from pre-school to Year 6.
Book a party with Kidsdance to make a special occasion go with a swing! Choose from one of our themes, or pick your own and we'll design up to an hour of lively dance, games and funky routines to involve every child at the party.
Guests are welcome to come in appropriate fancy dress. If you wish, we can also arrange a craft activity relevant to your chosen theme at the beginning or end of the dance session.
Ideal for beginners and those who have danced before, Opendance is a blend of aerobic fitness, body conditioning and fun contemporary dance.
The class was started in 2005, after complaints from parents of children coming to Kidsdance that it wasn't fair their kids got to have all the fun!
Opendance is open to any adult who wants to dance. It's fun and friendly and you can take it at your own pace.
