A dedicated performance group for children aged 7 to 12 who attend another Kidsdance class. Performers meet weekly to create and rehearse dances for local performances. A great way to develop performance skills and make new friends. No auditions, but we do ask for commitment, both to rehearsals and performances. The Performers have already taken part in four public performances since the group started in January 2011 and have built up a repertoire of four fantastic dances so far! As well as improving their technique, the Performers enjoy socialising with other kids who love dance and there is a fun, friendly atmosphere in the group. Performances in 2011: 16th April Kingston University, Momentum 15th May Twickenham RFU Live Room, RichDance 22nd May Stanley Primary School, Teddington, May Fair 12th June Twickenham Carnival, Community Showcase 16th July Twickenham Methodist Church Hall, Kidsdance end of term showcase 10th December Rambert School, St Margarets, Annual Christmas show Performers is open to children aged 7 to 12, who attend another Kidsdance class. Performers are often joined by members of our Steps class, a fusion of contemporary technique and street dance moves, for 8 to 13s.
