A dedicated performance group for children aged 8 to 12 who attend another Kidsdance class. Performers meet weekly to create and rehearse dances for local performances. A great way to develop performance skills and make new friends. No auditions, but we do ask for commitment, both to rehearsals and performances. The Performers group was formed in January 2011 and built up a repertoire of fantastic dances in 2011. They are now working on a new repertoire, developing their technique. As well as improving their dance and performance skills, the Performers enjoy socialising with other kids who love dance and there is a fun, friendly atmosphere in the group. Performances in 2011/2 (so far): 16th April Kingston University, Momentum 15th May Twickenham RFU Live Room, RichDance 22nd May Stanley Primary School, Teddington, May Fair 12th June Twickenham Carnival, Community Showcase 16th July Twickenham Methodist Church Hall, Kidsdance end of term showcase 10th December Rambert School, St Margarets, Annual Christmas show 18th March Hampton School Theatre, RichDance Performers is open to children aged 8 to 12, who attend another Kidsdance class.
