A unique multi arts summer experience
for children who love to dance
Week 1: ages 3 to 5 years
Monday 23rd to Friday 27th July 2012
9.30 - 11.30am daily at Twickenham Methodist Church Hall
Sibling discount applies - 10% off for the younger child
Week 2: ages 6 to 12 years
Monday 30th July to Friday 3rd August 2012
10am to 3pm daily, in professional dance studios at the Rambert School, St Margarets
Cost: £175 per child for the week
£155 for bookings made by 30th June

- Learn new dances and create your own
- Try different dance styles from around the world

- Make themed crafts for the end of course performance
The Kidsdance Annual Summer Course is running for two age groups this year - week one for younger children (3 to 5 years old) and week two for children aged 6 to 12.
No previous dance experience is necessary, but we hope children taking part will be doing so because they love dancing and are willing to try new styles! Those taking part in week 2 will be split into older and younger age groups and previous experience will be taken into account.
What is included?
- Daily contemporary dance class (accompanied by live music)
- Daily choreography workshop, with fun games, dance routines and the chance for the children to create their own dances
- Different dance styles, including street dance
- Themed craft sessions
- Music and storytelling workshops
- Free Summer Course T-shirt (week 2)
Week 2 finishes with a performance to parents and friends in the Rambert School's professional studio theatre - children from week 1 are also invited to take part in this as an option.
Who is teaching?
Week 1 is led by Twickenham Kidsdance's regular dance teachers, Sarah Dekker and Joanna Lamaison, with music from Rob Millett.
Week 2 is led by Katie Graham with Rob Millett and supported by Joanna Lamaison and Sarah Dekker.
